Day 1
- King Herod wanted to put someone from the Church in prison. He put Peter in prison. (Have your child pretend to be Peter being put in prison.)
- Peter had lots and lots of soldiers guarding him
- (Read Acts 12:5)
- The Church prayed for Peter. The Church are the people that are born again.
- We are with the Church when we are with people that are born again.
- You can pray for people. Who in the Church should we pray for? (Pray together.)
- (Have child repeat theme verse after you.)
- (Read Acts 12:6-10, pausing every verse to act it out together.)
- An angel is a messenger for God. God sent the angel to deliver Peter. God answered the prayers of the Church!
- Who are people that we know that need us to pray for them?
